Sesame Seed Cookies
Baking Time: 10-12 minutes
Temperature: 350°
Yields: 5 dozens
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- Sesame seed, toasted
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Sift together flour, salt and baking soda, and add to creamed mixture.
- Chill dough until firm–approximately 1 hour.
- Roll into balls and then roll into toasted sesame seeds.
- Place on slightly greased cookie sheets and press down flat.
- Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.
