Brown Sugar Pecan Rounds

Baking Time: 7-8 minutes
Temperature: 350°

Yields: 10 dozen mini cookies

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped (coarsely)
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat egg in well.
  3. Sift dry ingredients and blend in.
  4. Stir in pecans.
  5. Drop by 1/4 teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
  6. Cookies will flatten and spread.
  7. Bake for 7-8 minutes at 350°.

NOTE: These are miniature cookies that melt in your mouth.
