Chinese Salad Dressing

  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seed oil
  • 3 tbsp. vinegar

1. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
2. Chill in refrigerator.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Toss salad just before serving. Add quick fried rice noodles to vegetables just before tossing.

Make at least 4 recipes at one time – will keep for a long time in refrigerator.

Garnish salad with any of the following: shredded chicken, sliced ham, sliced char siu.

NOTE: Rice noodles (maifun) can be found in the oriental section of the supermarkets and must be deep fried for use in this salad.
