Skillet Dinner

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 round onion, sliced thin
  • 1 green pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 8 oz. uncooked elbow spaghetti
  • 1-28 oz. can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 bouillon cubes (chicken)
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Brown onion and green pepper in skillet. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle uncooked elbow spaghetti noodles over meat. Dissolve bouillon in water and pour over noodles. Pour the whole can of stewed tomatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and simmer over low heat 30–45 minutes without stirring. Makes 6 servings.
