Peanut Burger Casserole

  • 1 – 8 oz. pkg. seashell macaroni
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 2/3 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Topping:

  • 1 c. salted peanuts
  • 1/3 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cook macaroni according to directions and drain. Cook onions, green pepper and ground beef in salad oil till browned. Add rest of the ingredients. Mix well before putting into casserole dish. Sprinkle peanuts and cheese topping and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
