Abalone Pupu

  • 1 can abalone (use the abalone-like shellfish)
  • 3 tbsp. abalone juice
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. shoyu
  • 1 tsp. ginger juice
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco
  1. Mix all ingredients except the abalone.
  2. Slice or cube the abalone and soak in sauce for at least 2 hours.

NOTE: Put toothpicks alongside the bowl with the pupu for use to eat the abalone.
