Korean Meat Patties

  • 1 lb. ground round or meat of your choice
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp. or more of salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper (black)
  • ¼ tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • 1 tbsp. plus 1½ tsp. shoyu
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seed, toasted and crushed
  • 1 small clove of garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • ¾ cup day old bread crumbs

Combine all ingredients except ground meat and mix thoroughly. Add ground meat and blend, handle mixture lightly. Shape into six patties and broil. Serves six.
