Texas Hash

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ¼-½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • ½ lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1/3 cup rice (uncooked) or
  • 1 cup uncooked noodles
  • ½ tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper

Saute green pepper and onion in oil. Add ground beef and fry until all red is gone. Stir in remaining ingredients; pour into casserole; cover and bake 1 hour. Remove cover last 15 minutes. 350 degree oven.
