Fish Teriyaki

  • 1 lb. ahi, aku or mahimahi filets
  • ½ cup shoyu
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1½ inch piece ginger
  • ¼ tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seed

Combine teriyaki sauce ingredients and marinate fish 3 to 6 hours. Broil in an broiler 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

Yield: 4 servings.
