Chinese Roast Chicken

- 1 chicken fryer or roaster (4 lbs.)
- Garlic salt
- Few sprigs of Chinese parsley
- 4 green onions
Sauce:
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons Chinese Five Spice
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
Wipe chicken dry and sprinkle with garlic salt. Combine sauce ingredients and rub onto the outside and inside of the chicken. Pour remaining sauce into chicken cavity. Place green onions and parsley in cavity and skewer opening. Place chicken in a baking pan and roast at 350 degrees until done. Allow 30 minutes per pound. Baste occasionally with drippings.
