Chopped Steak
- 1 lb. tender beef sliced in thin pieces
- 3 round onions, sliced in 1/8 inch slices
Seasoning:
- 4 Tbsp. shoyu
- 2 – 3 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 ginger, grated
- 1 garlic, grated
For sauce:
- 1 tsp. cornstarch in 1 tsp. water
Soak beef in seasoning for 20 minutes. Heat pan with oil and cook onions until done, salt, and remove from pan. Throw meat with seasoning into the pot and cook. Take out only meat when done and add the cornstarch and water to the remaining liquid in the pot to make the sauce. Serve onions, together with meat and sauce.
