Gon Lo Mein Noodles (Haole Style)

- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) ready-to-eat chow mein noodles
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced
- 1/2 cup round onion, sliced
- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) bean sprouts
- 1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen sliced green beans
- 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup fish cake (kamaboko), sliced
- 1/4 lb. char siu, sliced thin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
In a 13″ x 9″ x 2″ baking dish place 1 Tbsp. of oil and noodles with 1/4 cup oyster sauce. Heat in 250° oven for 10 minutes. In large skillet or wok heat 1/2 Tbsp. oil. Stir-fry celery, onion, sprouts, and green beans for 2 minutes. Add salt and 1/4 cup oyster sauce. Stir into noodles.
Heat mushrooms, fish cake, and pork in same skillet 1 minute with 1/2 Tbsp. oil. Place on top of noodle mixture. Serves 4 to 6.
