Barbecued Meat Balls
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup uncooked oatmeal (or bread crumbs)
- 2 T fat
- green onions (chopped small)
- garlic (chopped small)
Combine all ingredients except fat and mix well. Shape into 12 balls. Brown meat in hot fat in skillet. While meat browns, prepare barbecue sauce.
Barbecue sauce:
- 1/2 C catsup
- 2 T brown sugar
- 2 T cider vinegar
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T shoyu
- 2 tsp prepared mustard
Combine all ingredients and pour over meat balls. Cover pan and cook until meat balls are done (about 20 min.).
