Gambou

Mrs. F. Nakakura – Haina

  • 1½ lb. meat
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1½ c can corn
  • 2 T finely chopped pepper
  • Flour to thicken
  • ½ c strained tomato
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ c rice

Cut meat in small pieces. Cook in water to cover until almost tender. Remove from pan and roll in flour. Brown with onion and small amount of fat. Add vegetables and brown. Continue to cook until tender.
