Barbecued Chicken (Deep Fry)

  • 2 lbs. frying chicken
  • 1 c Shoyu sauce
  • 1/3 c Sugar
  • Cornstarch
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Ajinomoto

Cut chicken in frying pieces and soak it overnight or half a day in sauce made of shoyu, sugar, ginger, garlic and pinch of ajinomoto. Drain sauce from chicken and make thin batter out of sauce, adding cornstarch a little at a time. Dip chicken into this batter and fry in deep fat.
