Barbecued Ribs
- 5 pounds defatted Beef Short Ribs
- 1 cup chopped Onions
- 1-1/2 cups Ketchup
- 1-1/2 cups Water
- 1/3 cup Lemon Juice
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 tablespoons Prepared Mustard
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
Place ribs, meat side up in baking pan. Roast at 450° for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Pour over ribs.
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until tender, basting every 15 to 20 minutes, adding more water to sauce if needed.
