Water Chestnut Turkey Stuffing
- 1 pkg. seasoned croutons
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped celery
- 1 small can chopped water chestnuts
- 1 can apple sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- Milk
Fry sausage and drain some of the oil. Add onion and celery and cook until tender. In mixing bowl, mix the croutons, water chestnuts and apple sauce. Add the cooked ingredients, the eggs, and just enough milk to moisten. Sprinkle with salt if necessary. Stuff bird and roast.
