Taro Cakes
- 2 cups diced taro (½ inch cubes)
- ½ cup chopped dried shrimps
- ½ cup cooked diced pork
- ¼ cup finely diced ham
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp. chopped chinese parsley
- 2 tbsp. chopped larn see
- ¾ cup water
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sesame seed
- 2 tbsp. scrambled egg
Fry taro cubes in two tablespoon of oil. Cover and simmer for 15 min. Combine flour and water to form a paste. Add all ingredients including taro to the paste of mixture. Grease an eight-inch cake pan and spread mixture in pan. Place in a steamer and steam for 25 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and shredded scrambled egg.
