Taro Cakes

  • 2 cups diced taro (½ inch cubes)
  • ½ cup chopped dried shrimps
  • ½ cup cooked diced pork
  • ¼ cup finely diced ham
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp. chopped chinese parsley
  • 2 tbsp. chopped larn see
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sesame seed
  • 2 tbsp. scrambled egg

Fry taro cubes in two tablespoon of oil. Cover and simmer for 15 min. Combine flour and water to form a paste. Add all ingredients including taro to the paste of mixture. Grease an eight-inch cake pan and spread mixture in pan. Place in a steamer and steam for 25 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and shredded scrambled egg.
