Swedish Pie

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup flour, unsifted
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ½ cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup chopped apples

Beat egg well, add sugar gradually, continuing to beat. Add flour gradually. Fold in salt, vanilla, nuts and apples. Place in greased pie pan (no crust needed.) Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream; Serves 6.
