Spiced Nuts

Time: 30 minutes                          Temperature: 300 degrees

  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  • 3 cups nut meats (macadamia, walnuts, almonds)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg
  1. Place slightly beaten egg white and nuts in a large bowl.
  2. Stir until all nuts are well coated.
  3. Add the mixture of sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until nut meats are well coated.
  4. Shake lightly in a sieve to remove sugar mixture.
  5. Spread on a baking sheet and bake until crisp and dried.
