Yookan

  • 4 sticks kanten
  • 5 cups water
  • 4½ cups sugar
  • 1 can cooked an

Wash kanten, and soak in water 5 minutes. Then cook until it starts boiling, add the sugar, and keep on cooking, for about 5 minutes. Last add the cooked an and mix well, continue cooking 4 to 5 minutes. Pour into a pan. Cool, refrigerate. When it’s firm, it is ready to cut.
