South Sea Steak

  • 2 lb. sirloin tip or top round (about ½” thick)
  • ½ cup salad oil
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. shoyu
  • 4 tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 3 tbsp. sesame seed

Sprinkle salt on the meat first. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat and cover the bowl. Marinate for several hours or over nite in refrigerator. When ready to cook drain off sauce and baste with it while broiling. Broil for 8 min. on one side and 6 min. on other side.
