Seaweed Roll

  • 1/3 cup ground pork
  • 1/3 cup fresh shrimp, chopped
  • 4 dried mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fish paste
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped
  • 10 water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons shoyu
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Dash of gourmet powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Nori

Cook ground pork in sauce pan. Shell shrimps, devein, wash, and chop fine. Wash mushrooms, soak, drain, and chop fine. Mix all ingredients thoroughly except nori. Cut nori into 2″ x 3″ pieces. Place mixture on nori and roll. Fry in deep fat until done. Serve hot.
