Sangria Blanca
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 bottle (4/5 quart) Chablis or other dry white wine
- 1 bottle (10-oz) club soda
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup curacao or other orange-flavored liqueur
- 1 lemon unpeeled, sliced in cartwheels
In large pitcher, dissolve sugar in lemon juice. Add wine, club soda, orange juice, curacao, lemon cartwheels and ice cubes; stir well. Garnish individual servings with orange cartwheel twist, strawberry and mint, if desired.
Yield: 6 cups
