Rum-Cherry Topping

CLASS OF 1962

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream

Warm pie filling; add butter, salt, vanilla and rum. Spoon over scoop of ice cream while still warm.

Yield: 8 servings
