Rice Cake
- 1 pkg. mochi flour
- 1¼ cup water (approximate)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. potato starch
Mix together mochi flour and water and knead. Wrap in cheesecloth and steam for fifteen to twenty minutes. Mix well while hot and add sugar. Flatten ball of dough and fill with bean filling and form a bun.
Bean Filling:
- ¾ cup azuki (5 ounces)
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
Wash and boil with enough water until tender. Add sugar and salt, cook until thick.
