Prune Bread

- 1 c. oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 jar size prune baby food
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Add the salt and cinnamon to flour and then mix in order given. Add buttermilk and dry ingredients to liquid mixture. Pour into two well-greased bread loaf pans. Bake half-hour at 350 degrees, then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake another half hour. Let cool in pans a few minutes, then turn out. Nuts may be added to mix if desired.
