Pecan Pie
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 3/4 cup Light Corn Syrup (Karo)
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1-1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 3 Eggs
- 1 to 1-1/2 cups Pecan Halves
- 1 – 9 inch Pie Shell, unbaked
In a saucepan, combine sugar and Karo syrup. Simmer until sugar dissolves. Take off the heat and add butter and vanilla. Beat eggs until foamy. Stir into syrup mixture. Add pecans and stir well. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in a preheated 325° oven until done (about 40 minutes).
