Orange Marmalade

- 2 large oranges
- 2 – 3 small lemons
- 11 c. water
- 8 c. sugar
Scrub fruit well. Cut into quarters and remove seeds. Soak the fruit for 24 hours. Remove fruit, cut into very small shreds. Return to the water in which it was soaked. Boil for 1 hour. Add 8 cups sugar. Boil the marmalade until the juice forms a jelly when tested.
