Pipikaula

  • 1 piece Flank Steak

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. ginger root, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced and crushed
  1. Pound steak on both sides with back of knife blade.
  2. Cut into 4-inch wide strips.
  3. Combine sauce ingredients.
  4. Marinate for a few hours or overnight.
  5. Hang out in the sun to dry for 1-2 days or oven dry at 170° for 5-7 hours.
  6. This recipe will yield 8 servings.
