Mocha Frosting

  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup soft butter
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. instant coffee
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • 2½ tsp. hot water

Add egg to butter; mix well. Sift together sugar, coffee, salt and cocoa; gradually add to egg-batter mixture. Now gradually add hot water until you reach a good spreading consistency.
