Layered Beef

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 round onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 – 2 c. peas and carrots, frozen
  • 2 c. mashed potato

Brown onions in skillet and add ground meat. Add salt and pepper and cook until golden brown. Sprinkle with flour; pour milk over meat and add peas and carrots. Top with mashed potato, cover skillet and over low heat cook for 30 minutes without stirring. Serve hot. Serves 6. (Mashed potato can be made by using Potato Buds and following instruction for making 2 c.)
