Korean Short Ribs

  • 3 lb. short ribs (1/2-inch thickness)

Sauce:

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 or 5 stalks green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. dried red chili pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sesame oil
  • 4 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted and crushed
  • Dash of Ajinomoto (if desired)
  • 2 tsp. honey

Mix ingredients for sauce. Let stand for 2 to 3 hours.

Soak meat in sauce for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Broil over charcoal for best results.
