Juicy Hamburger Patties

  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. grated ginger
  • ½ tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • Flour

Shape hamburger into patties. Mix soy sauce, sugar, ginger and monosodium glutamate in a bowl. Place a small amount of flour in a dish or wax paper. Mix onions with beaten eggs. Dip hamburgers into soy sauce mixture soaking each side well. Dip in flour and egg mixture. Pan fry in lightly oiled pan over a very low heat. Cook slowly on each side.
