Hungarian Goulash

  • 2 tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 8oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1 No. 303 whole kernel corn
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ¼ tsp. monosodium glutamate

Fry onion in hot oil, add beef, cook stirring until light brown. Stir in tomato sauce, carrot, corn and seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes. Yield: 8 servings.
