Hamburger Patties
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small round onion, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. powdered milk
- 3 slices bread softened with water
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into patties or round balls. Brown patties in skillet in low heat on both sides. This makes plain hamburger patties. For variation, before the hamburger is cooked, the following different sauces may be poured over.
A.
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. shoyu
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
B.
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/4 can water
C.
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
