Fried Gau Gee
Yields: 35-40 gaugee
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 6 medium-sized shrimps, cleaned, deveined, chopped
- 1/4 c. green onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp. sesame seed oil
- 1/2 tsp. shoyu
- 8 water chestnuts, minced
- 1 pkg. wun tun wrappers
- Oil for frying
- Combine filling ingredients.
- Place 1 teaspoonful of filling in the center of wun tun wrappers.
- Fold in half forming a rectangle.
- Seal edges with water by pressing firmly.
- Deep fry in hot oil at 365° (medium high heat) until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towel.
