Easy Quiche

- 1 ready-to-bake pie crust
- 1 Tbsp. butter (or margarine)
- 1/4 lb. bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup thin cream (8-oz. glass jar, table grade)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Bake pie crust to a golden brown; set aside. Melt butter in pan; add bacon and onions. Fry until bacon is crisp and onions are soft. Strain in colander. Blend egg, cream, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese. Put onion and bacon in cooled pie crust and pour egg-cheese mixture over that. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes or until filling is set.
