Creamy Green Goddess Dressing

  • 1 cup parsley, stems removed
  • ½ cup snipped chives
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. anchovy paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ cup wine vinegar
  • ½ cup red wine

Chop parsley and chives in blender, or chop fine with knife. Add cream, mayonnaise, sugar, anchovy paste and seasonings. Blend until smooth. Stir in vinegar and wine. Refrigerate in covered container until ready to serve. Makes 1 quart.

Serve with quarters of head lettuce or tossed green salad.
