Corn Chowder

  • 3 slices of bacon
  • 1 small round onion, chopped
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 15 oz. can corn, drained
  • 2 c. milk
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  1. Slice bacon into small pieces and fry in a pot.
  2. Add the onions and fry until cooked.
  3. Pare and dice the potatoes.
  4. Add the water, salt, pepper and potatoes.
  5. Cook till the potatoes are tender.
  6. Add the corn and the milk.
  7. Cook until it boils.
  8. Serve hot.
