Chinese Salad Dressing

- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Ajinomoto*
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed oil
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Chill in refrigerator. Make at least 4 recipes at one time—will keep for a long time in refrigerator.
Serving suggestions: Toss salad just before serving. Add quick fried rice noodles to vegetables just before tossing. Garnish salad with any of the following: shredded chicken, sliced ham, sliced char siu.*
Note: Rice noodles (maifun*) can be found in the oriental section of the supermarket and must be deep fried for use in this salad.
