Chicken Curry
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1 scant T. curry powder
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1/2 c chicken pieces
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 c flour
- 1 c milk
Fry onions & curry powder in fat until onion is cooked. Add flour & blend. Add milk and broth. Cook until smooth. Add chicken pieces.
Accompliments: mango chutney, peanuts, bacon, boiled egg, crushed chips, etc.
