Chicken-Asparagus or Broccoli Casserole

Sprinkle on chicken and cook in oil:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp. ajinomoto or salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. salad oil

Cook as directed on package and place on bottom of pan – 2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen asparagus or broccoli. 2 lb. fresh broccoli or asparagus can be parboiled and drained. Place over asparagus pieces, sliced chicken pieces. Pour over chicken:

  • 6 slices bread shredded (1 loaf may be used)
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup (celery soup may be used)

Sprinkle with 1 c. grated cheese (cheddar) and bake in 350 degree F. oven for 30 minutes.
