Brandy Balls

  • 2-1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers (about 60 wafers)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup

Combine water crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and nuts. Stir in brandy and corn syrup. Add a little water (about 1¼ tsp) if necessary to form mixture into 3/4-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Store in tightly covered container.

Yield: 4 dozen balls
