Blueberry Cream Cheese Shortbread

Crust:

  • 2 blocks butter
  • 4 T powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Filling:

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 bottle whipped Avoset
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling

Combine crust ingredients together. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Chill for 1/2 hr. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until lightly brown.

Filling: mix sugar and cream cheese. Fold in whipped Avoset and vanilla. Pour on cooled crust; chill until ready to serve. Serve topped with chilled blueberry pie filling.
