Bavarian Strawberry Cream Mold

Pan Size: 1 1/2 quart ring mold

Yields: 10-12 servings

  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 2 pkgs. (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin
  • Cold water
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 c. whipped cream

1. Drain thawed strawberries. Set aside strawberry juice.
2. Add enough cold water to the strawberry juice to make 1 cup.
3. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in hot water and stir in strawberry juice mixture.
4. Chill mixture in refrigerator until gelatin begins to set.
5. Beat partially-set gelatin until foamy.
6. Fold in whipped cream and add drained strawberries.
7. Pour into oiled 1 1/2 quart ring mold.
8. Chill until firm.
