Bar B Q Spareribs

  • 3 to 6 lbs. spareribs

Place the spareribs in deep pot; add enough water to cover ribs and boil for 45 minutes. Drain. Combine all ingredients and soak for 30 to 45 minutes.

  • ½ cup shoyu
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. whiskey
  • 1 small piece garlic
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • ½ tsp. salt

Place ribs on rack and broil 5 to 10 minutes or until brown. Charcoal broil or you can also bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees.
