Sweet and Sour Chicken

Mitsuyo Saito

  • 2 pkgs. drummettes (frozen or thawed)
  • Dash of Chinese Spice
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Shoyu

Mix all ingredients except drummettes and flour and bring to a boil. Add drummettes and cook until boiling. Lower heat and simmer until the chicken is tender. Just before turning off heat sprinkle flour and mix well.
