Sweet Sour Pigs Feet

  • 1 pair pigs feet
  • 2 large pieces ginger, crushed
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1½ cups vinegar
  • 1½ cups water
  • 6 tbsp. brown sugar

Seasoning mixed in bowl:

  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. shoyu
  • 1 tsp. thick shoyu
  • ½ tsp. ajinomoto

Cut up pigs feet in small chunks and parboil. Drain off water.

Put oil in hot pan, brown ginger and garlic. Put pigs feet in and fry 1 to 2 minutes.

Simmer with seasoning for 1 minute. Add vinegar, sugar, and water and cook until tender.
