Gon Lo Mein

  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 c. chicken, slivered
  • 1/2 c. char siu, sliced thin
  • 1/3 c. bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 3/4 c. celery, sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 c. green onion, cut in 1 1/2 inch length
  • 1/2 lb. bean sprouts
  • 1 pkg. cooked noodles
  • 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed
  • 1/4 c. Chinese parsley
  • 1/4 c. char siu, slivered

Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp. oyster sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of ajinomoto

Stir fry chicken in hot oil for 2 minutes. Add char siu and stir fry another minute. Add bamboo shoots, celery, green onion, bean sprouts, noodles and combined sauce ingredients. Stir fry 1 minute to heat through. Garnish with 2 Tbsp. sesame seed, parsley and char siu.
